Dear Ms. Hudson,
This is written in response to your telephone inquiry concerning the east side of Old
Coppell Townhomes draining onto your property. Michael Garza, in the Engineering
Department for the City of Coppell, investigated this complaint and found that the new
development was apparently graded incorrectly during the course of construction.
The property owner has been notified to make correction to this area (see attached letter).
If you do not see an improvement to the drainage please give Michael Garza a call at

Dear Mr. Robertson,
The City of Coppell has recently received complaints regarding standing water on lots
adjacent to the east side of Old Coppell Townhomes. According to the drainage plans,
the runoff should travel south to the private storm drain system; however, this is not the
case. The runoff is actually traveling east onto adjacent properties. This area was
apparently graded incorrectly during the course of construction.
We respectfully request that the area be re-graded correctly to ensure proper drainage and
in order to prevent further damage to properties adjacent to the east side of your
development.
