RE: State Highway 121; CSJ: 3547-02-003
Dear Mr. Elsom:
This letter is regarding three drop inlets located on the north side of the westbound lanes
of SH 121 located between Business 121 and Denton Tap Road in Denton County. It has
been brought to our attention that there is damaged silt fence located on these inlets (N14,
N3 and N16) which is causing debris to enter the storm drain system and is discharging
into a nearby pond on the south side of SH 121. The silt and debris allowed to flow into
the system unchecked is causing a major expense to the downstream subdivision.
I have attached digital photographs taken at the subject locations recently that show the
extent of the damage and the lack of protection to downstream properties from runoff.
Your prompt attention to rectifying the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
\
