Dear Mr. Sorrell:
We have reviewed your request for substitution of'a type SCNA
cast-in-place box for our plan required precast (C-850) in Freeport
Parkway. We can support your offer if Buckelew Construction will
agree to the following:
1. Substitution of a SC-NC cast-in-place design for the C-850
precast box instead of a SC-NA design.
2. Confirm the method proposed for constructing the cast-in-place
design on a curve (chord or special forms~.
3. As offered, pump out the existing open channel constructed to
the west of this project when directed during the term of this
contract.
q. Reduce the price for item number 16 from $260.00 per linear
foot to $220.00 per linear foot.
This modification will require a Council approved change order and a
willingness by the City to accept a slightly longer closure of
Freeport Parkway. Please do not hesitate to call if we can answer
any questions.
