Luedke, E.I.T. Community Nos.: 480170, 480171, and 480180 The issues listed below must be addressed before we can continue the review of your request. Our review of your request, which includes the topographic work map, the photographs, and the models, revealed that this project may create a potential for erosive conditions and/or channel scour along Grapevine Creek between Cross Sections 11300 and 14170. Elevations of the flood having a 1-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood} at all cross sections may also inundate the bases of the as-built retaining walls. Please provide documentation certified by a registered professional engineer, which demonstrates that the issues of erosion protection, channel stability, and channel scour have been addressed in the design and construction of these walls. 2. Your recent submittal of the topographic work map did not include the boundary delineations of the post-project flood having a 0.2~-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year. Please resubmit a topographic work map with the boundary delineations of the 0.2-percent-annual-chance flood. The floodway notification distributed by each community stating their intent to revise the floodway in accordance with Paragraph 65.7(b)(1) of the National Flood Insurance Program regulations previously submitted states that revision to the floodway is on the south side of Grapevine Creek. However, your recently submitted models show the revision to the floodway on both sides of the creek. Therefore, please resubmit a copy of the public notice distributed by each community which states that the floodway revision is to the both sides of Grapevine Creek, or a statement from each community that all affected property owners have been notified. Please send the required data directly to us at the address shown at the bottom of this page. For identification purposes, please include the case number referenced above on alI correspondence. 3601 EisenhomerAvenae, Alexandria, VA 2230.6*25 PH:1-877-FEMA MAP FX: 703.960.91T5 The Mapping on Demand Team, under contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is the National Service Provider for the National Flood Insurance Program
