RE: Belt Line Road at Dividend Drive, Traffic Signal Submittal
Dear Mr. Bennett:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced submittal and has the following
comments to offer:
1. Ensure the signal controller is provided with an Ethernet card for direct communication
through the fiber optic cable provided.
2. Item 628 will need to be coordinated with our Facilities Manager, Sheri Moino. TXU
Electric Delivery will provide power to the signal base, Ms. Moino will arrange for
power activation through our energy provider. The addressing of the signal location is
done through Building Inspections Dept. Contact Lee Stone at 972-304-3510.
3. Power shall be served by underground means and service shall be by SP-U on Drawing
No. SP-Ia.
4. The confirmation light should be LED rather than incandescent as shown.
5. Item 682, Vehicle and Pedestrian Signal Heads, should be polycarbonate, black in
color, in accordance with Coppell standards.
6. Traffic poles and mast arms must be powder-coated per City of Coppell specifications:

7. The sign manufacturer shall submit a layout drawing for the ILSN SIgn for City
approval prior to manufacturing.

F or your information, Engineering Department personnel are conducting a final review of
plans for the signal location submitted by C&P Engineering. Please provide the requested
changes and clarification at your earliest convenience.
