REF: Refund to Hard Eight Barbecue
Two fire line meters were shown on the plans for this project when fees were collected on July
19, 2006. We collected the check for all the fees on that date, which included the two meters at
$4,541.25 each (see attached). We then ordered the two meters (DDC's); however, they elected
to use their own DDC /Vault assemblies instead, so they are due a refund in the amount of
$9,082.50.

Ken:
Hard 8 BBQ furnished their own DDC's and vaults. They furnished the DDC/Vault
combination assemblies. We did order DDC's for them but, they decided to use the
vault combinations instead. Any funds that were collected for the DDC's should be
refunded to Hard 8.
