I wish to express my appreciation to you and Derek Earle for your
efforts to resolve the Kaye Street drainage problem. As you will
recall, this project was accepted by Fox & Jacobs and the City in
order to avoid an imminent lawsuit by one or more residents on Kaye
Street, which would have resulted in excessive legal expenses, and
if we had been found culpable, award of damages to the
plaintiff (s).
In order to complete this project, the City Council accepted a
significant increase in the City's participation costs for the
project. Fox & Jacobs agreed early on to provide engineering and
$30,000 in a cash contribution for this project. So that we may
complete the project, would you please remit the $30,000 cash Fox
& Jacobs contribution to the City of Coppell at this time.

project.
