DR8802-CS 911231 (2)Mr. Gary Sieb City Planner City of Coppell 255 Parkway Boulevard Coppell, TX 75019 RE: Kaye Street Drainage Dear Gary: Per your request, following is a summary of our understanding of the situation concerning the drainage easement on the west side of Mr. Blake Swekovsky's property and the current status of the Kaye Street Drainage project: 1) Centex has made arrangement with Mr. Swekovsky to obtain the easement on the west side of his property in exchange for monetary consideration and some plant materials to be provided to him tbr his own use. It is anticipated that the easement should be ready on Thursday or Friday dependent on final arrangements with Mr. Swekovsky. 2) My understanding is that the City has committed to replace Mr. Swekovsky's fence with an 8' fence as part of the construction contract. In. addition, disturbed landscape will be replaced as necessary during construction. 3) Centex will continue to provide engineering support services to the City through Ca~ter and Burgess in terms of miscellaneous inspections, payment request review and survey staking through the conclusion of the project. 4) We also understand that Centex (with exception of the items discussed above) is under no further finandal obligation to the City tbr the construction of the project as the City Council has agreed to fired the construction. Note that a substantial sum has already been expended by Centex for the desi~ phase and ibr the easement acquisition on Mr. Swekovsky's property. If any of the above information is contrary to your understanding of the project arrangements, please call me hnmedlate!y.
