DFW construction permit on Bethel/Bass Pro project
Ken,
Contractor met with airport officials for a potential batch plant
location at the southwest corner of Bethel and Royal to receive the bad
news that the airport will lease that property at $22,000 per acre per
year - 2 acres would cost Tiseo $44K per year. Do you know of any other
sites nearby that the contractor can pursue?
Second, I want you to think back to the meeting held on 5/18/06 with
DFW personnel and us. During that meeting many issues were raised by
DFW - airspace/height restriction zone, property boundary, FAA, wetland
mitigation area, corp permits, 1/3,1/3, 1/3 tax sharing, and testing for
contaminates in fill material.
At that meeting, I thought that we put to bed many of the issues: road
being built upon their property (Stan also talked with Pyles and Pyles
agreed - not an issue), DFW provided wetland mitigation map and limits
of construction falls outside that boundary, SW3P will be provided to
cities and airport by contractor, corp permit - our impact to the creek
falls under the nationwide permit - no permit required, airspace - our
construction equipment is off airport property - however contractor
needs to certify that any cranes will be less than airspace heights
regs., contaminated material - lab will provide testing for contaminates
on the borrow material placed upon the airport property.
Those are the issues that Lorna and I recall, let me know if you have
any additional issues. Rhonda said that you were tied up all day,
