Re: Verizon Utili1y Relocations
Dear Keith:
Throughout the utility construction process at the Lesley tract we have encountered two conflicts with existing
Verizon facilities. We have been attempting to get these facilities relocated to no avail. There are two conflicts
holding up the completion of the infrastructure drainage. The fIrst is the existing fiber line running parallel to
Beltline Road. The fIber line is in conflict with our stonn drain line. We delivered a check to cover the
relocation over a month ago and are still awaiting a Verizon representative to begin the necessary work. The
second conflict is an existing copper line at the northeast comer of the project in the vicinity of the headwall
construction that discharges into the RREEF property. Duke has been in contact with Verizon on this issue
since the preconstruction meeting held at the City on February 26, 2007. This relocation is critical for Duke to
install the headwall and riprap necessary to complete the drainage system and stabilize the area of concern for
both Duke and its neighbors. We request any assistance you may be able to give in dealing with Verizon. We
would like to set up a meeting at the City between the necessary Coppell representatives, Duke and Verizon to
bring closure to these outstanding issues. I have listed below the names and contact infonnation of the Verizon
