I received your letter. I have spoken with Verizon, and they tell me that they have completed their
necessary engineering and turned this issue over to their construction division. I also spoke with their
Construction Coordinator for these relocations. He informed me that they have had the design since
06/07/07, and that they have forwarded it to their contractor to complete the work.

Alex,
He suggested that Duke could contact the contractor directly for a work schedule. The contact is Jeff
Williams with Klaassmeyer (214) 876-1116.
The city is willing to facilitate a meeting between Duke and Verizon if you feel it is necessary, however it
appears that Verizon is moving forward with the work.
