Dear Ms. Smith:
The City of Coppell needs to move forward with the referenced project. One issue that
needs to be resolved for this project to move forward is Right of Way acquisition. I know
you worked with Suzan Taylor in an effort to save a large oak tree at the corner of Kaye
Street and Coppell Road. Unfortunately Suzan is no longer with the City of Coppell.
The city is still willing to realign this intersection to avoid this large specimen tree;
hmvever, this will require additional right of way dedication from property owned by you
at 412 Coppell Road. I am requesting confirmation that you still own those two
properties and you still desire to relocate the street intersection to avoid this tree.

further detail.

Right-of-Way Stakes
Dear Ms. Smith
This letter is written as a follow-up to your voice mail concerning the staking of the proposed right-of-
way I requested the consultant to prepare an exhibit that showed the points that were recently staked.
The consultant set five right -of-way stakes for the proposed realignment of Kaye Street to the north
The additional right-of-way will be required from the north side of Kaye Street only There will not be
any right-of-way required on the south side of the street so no new stakes were set The comer clip on
your lot will not be required \vith the realignment
The realignment will place the back of curb approximately 10 feet from both the 33-lnch oak and the
1 5-lnch elm If you have concerns about the location of the back of curb, I can have a city inspector
spray paint the approximate location of the curb for you Part of the proposed curb is located in the
existing roadway and can not be staked The city inspector is also available to meet with you to discuss
the staking and the proposed alignment He is In the office from 700 am to 400 pm
If you should have any additional questions or need to meet with the city inspector please let me know
