Develaper Initiated Change Order.
Dear Mr. Smith:
The City af Cappell has received a request fram a private develaper to. madify our plans for the referenced
project to accommadate their propased development. The property in questian is the vacant lot between
the Minyards development and the Pastal facility an the sauth side of Bethel Raad. The develaper has had
his engineer produce the attached plans shawing the proposed madificatians.
The work cansists af the madificatian aftwa median apenings and the additian af an 8" water and an 8"
sewer stub aut to. the property. The engineer has provided the fallawing table af quantities and I have
added the unit prices and tatal price per aur current cantract.

item. and any ather items you see necessary far the wark that was nat included in this list.
Once you have finalized your cost for this work we will present the total cost to the developer and upon
payment to the city we will execute a change order to our contract for you to perform the work.

By my calculations (measuring in Cadd file) the revisions we propose add 357 SY of concrete pavement (207 SY
at the western entry and 150 SY at the eastern entry). The lime should increase by approximately these same
quantities. There will be an increase of 601 SF of median pavers (339 SF at the western entry and 271 SF at the
eastern entry).
The water connection will add 1- 16" x 8" Tapping sleeve and valve and 97 LF of 8" water main.
The sewer connection will add 1 manhole and 65 LF of 8" sewer main.
