RE: W. Bethel Road Reconstruction
ST 99-05
Utility Conflict
Dear Mr. Fortune:
This letter is a follow-up to a meeting that took place today between representatives of Verizon,
the City of CoppelL and Tiseo paving, the city's contractor working on the referenced project.
This meeting was intended to discuss the resolution to a conflict with a Verizon cable and the
city's underground drainage facilities. This conflict is located on the south side of Bethel Road
at station 47+00. There is a Verizon fiber optic line in conflict with our multiple 10'x5' box
culvert.
The City of Coppell is concerned about the apparent lack of activity surrounding this conflict.
Our contractor discussed this activity with Rick Trevino when the conflict was discovered in
May. As of the date of this letter the conflict still exists, and we have been given no time table
for Verizon to rectify the situation.
The city is requesting a firm date on when \ve can expect this conflict to be resolved. Should you
have any questions or need any additional information, please advise.
Sincerely,
~~
