Attached please find two originals of the addendum proposal submitted by
Albert B. Halff Associates, Inc. for their additional services on the
above project.
As you may recall, the original budget for services provided by Halff was
$7,600. Our consultant has been working on this project constantly and
has made major progress. In fact, it appears that we have only two
additional signatures to obtain--Jones and Glidewell. Based on this
progress, we will bring the final report forward by no later than
September 4, 1991.
Staff recommends approval of the attached addendum in the amount of $1,500
for additional services provided by AH}I, as outlined. If approved, this
amount can be funded out of engineering professional services acct. #422.

Re: N. Kaye Street Easements - Addendum Proposal
Dear Shohre:
We would like to inform you that we are out of budget for the N. Kaye Street Easements
project. The reasons are as follows:
1. Special provisions requested by Gilbert Welch, J.R. Howard, Troy Glideweil,
Dean Henson, Dwight Wallrer, Matthew Johnson, Steve Cason, Fay Nigo and Om
Singla demanded ~_ time, coordination with you, the City Attorney and the
Design Engineer and more meetings with the homeowners sometimes not only at
their homes but also at their offices.
2. A special trip to Soa~er, Texas (west of Sh~iman) in order to obtain signatures
from Sam and Sharon Howard (a 164 mile round trip).
Therefore, we would like to request your approval for an additional budget of $1,500, on
same teJ',~ as outlined in the August 1, 1991 proposal to the City of Coppell.
Work left to be done is to call, meet with, negotiate and obtain signatures on 4 easements
from Om Singla and Pramod Bansal, Gary ,4flares, Curtis and Hazel Jones and Troy and Patricia
