Ken: Thank you for talking to me yesterday and explaining the procedures. As requested, I have attached the
estimate from our landscaping company which totals $10,699.43. The invoice that we sent to Tiseo was for
$7500.00. We arrived at that number by deducting the last two items on the estimate, one being the removal of
two Bradford pear trees that were damaged but not actually killed during the construction phase (they are
located next to the new sidewalk and we are concerned that since they are damaged, a branch could snap and

hit someone since these are weak wooded trees to start with), and the other being for pruning a tree that is in
our private park and should not be considered for reimbursement at all. That left the total at $7,699.43, and we
just rounded it down to $7500 on the invoice that we sent to Tiseo. I will trust your judgment on whether these
deductions were appropriate or not, and whether we should send a revised invoice to Tiseo.
I know that this amount may not be large in the grand scheme of the total project that you are handling, but it is a
significant amount coming from our rather limited annual operating budget. We sincerely appreciate your help
with this.

We met with Tiseo yesterday to discuss closing out the project. We asked them to deal directly with you to
resolve the landscaping issue. The problem all along has been that their landscape person had informed them
that it should have taken less that a $1000 to repair/replace the landscaping. That determination was made
after reviewing the photos and the video taken before the project started and replacing exactly what was there.
Regardless of what number may be correct, we placed some incentives on the table to expedite their resolution
of the landscaping.
You should be hearing from Tiseo representatives in the near future to discuss this issue. If you have not heard
from anyone by 7/20/07, please let me know.
