The section of Sandy Lake from SH 121 to North Coppell Road has been
constructed and the transmission towers on the north side were avoided. We
intentionally shifted the road south to miss them. TXU has wooden
transmission poles on the south side of Sandy Lake from North Coppell Road
to Denton Tap Road. That project has not started yet, but some of them may
need to be relocated. That project is scheduled to begin in 2008.

Ken,
We are working on the relocation of TXU Transmission structures at SH 121 @
Sandy Lake.
I have had a few conversations with Matt Atkins at Teague Nail & Perkins
concerning Sandy Lake and the TXU Transmission line running parallel to the
road. He gave me your name for a contact concerning the utility adjustments
for th is project.

He informed me Sandy Lake changes are complete and it is already in
operation. Therefore, the TXU transmission line parallel to Sandy Lake will
not need to be adjusted. Is this correct?
If this is correct, I would like to see if we could get a letter from you
stating we would not need to relocate the transmission structures for that
project.
I am aware we will need to move a structure or two with the widening and
changes being made for the TxDOT SH 121 project.
Please keep in mind this is for TXU Transmission only, not TXU
distribution. .
