We continue to receive complaints about cut through traffic on Bricknell because of the closure of Coppell Road
at Sandy Lake. We are out of solutions, short of closing the road off. Therefore, I'm sending an exhibit inter-
office showing to close off Bricknell, south of Eastwick, for the remainder of the summer.
If you could respond to this proposal, as soon as possible, and let me know what concerns you have from an
emergency response I would appreciate it. If Police and Fire support this concept, then I will see if the
neighborhood supports it.
I know it's radical, but we can't seem to make the cut through traffic understand that they need to go around
not through the subdivision.

we have issued numerous citations for those cutting through the neighborhood. I think
someone will find something to complain about no matter what is done, so we are good with
trying a different approach. let us know how we can help.

I agree with Roy. Additionally, closing Bricknell will increase emergency response times for apparatus
responding from station 1. The alternate route of Winding Hollow/Minyard will be time consuming. With this
being said, we are committed to whatever is necessary to resolve or improve the current situation.
