Ms. Taylor
I wanted to provide you an update on your request. A portion of the intersection is in Coppell but it is
maintained by Grapevine and TxDOT. The latest information is that Grapevine has requested that
TxDOT review the intersection and at least provide "cross traffic does not stop" signs. Grapevine also
requested that you be contacted by TxDOT when a decision has been made.
I'm sorry that the initial forwarding to Grapevine took so long. The original email got lost among my
other emails. Hopefully this will be resolved correctly.

Good afternoon Mohammed,
We have a concern at the intersection of northbound 121 service rd and Sandy Lake Rd that a citizen
brought to our attention. The citizen is requesting a flashing red light facing the northbound service
road with signs that say "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop". We have similar signs on the southbound
frontage road although there is no flashing light. Could you please look at this and get back to the
citizen and also copy myself and Ken Griffin, the director of public works of Coppell on your
response. Their contact info is in the emails below.
Please call me if you have any questions.

Mark,
can you tell me who the contact at TXDOT Dallas is to get this taken care of? If you have the contact
info for the director of transportation there, that would be great. thanks.

I was reviewing some of my 300+ emails this morning and came across this one. I don't believe I ever
forwarded it to Grapevine. I think that Grapevine is still maintaining the intersection for TxDOT. Any
help from Grapevine or TxDOT would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ken Griffin

I have almost been broadsided twice in the past week at the above intersection. Can we please put up a
flashing red light for those coming north on the feeder road? Along with the explanation that "Cross
Traffic Does Not Stop". It's such a dangerous intersection.
Thank you! J.T. 134 Allencrest Lane; Coppell, TX 75019
