I'll be out tomorrow, but I wanted you to have this information. We can discuss any of these items next week.
Bethel Road (ST99-0S):
We have been discussing moving storm drain line "D" north to get it out of the existing paving. Rick made the suggestion
that we eliminate Line D altogether and tie the 5 laterals directly into the S'x10' box. I have discussed this with
Transystems and they see no reason we couldn't do that. I have asked Transystems to send me the information for the
contractor to make this change.
Cappel! Road (STOO-03):
I have had discussions with two property owners about our ROW/easement acquisition. The owner at the northeast corner
of Cooper and Coppell is concerned about their Cedar Trees. They would like some guarantee that they will be preserved
during construction, or if they are destroyed that we would replace them. I suggested that they write up what they would
like us to do, and send it in as a response to our offer for the corner clip. Of course they were also concerned about the
loss of the trees along the west side of Coppell Road.
I also spoke with the guy that owns the land on the southeast corner of Coppell and Plantation. He is interested in closing
his two driveways on Coppell Road and having us build him a new drive on Plantation. I told him I'd talk with you and get
back to him.
Floodplain Development Permit:
I've left the FDP for 462 Wales Court with Rhonda. I told the engineer that we would try to process it this week.
