Calvert Calvert and Company 1 00 1 West Main Street Carrollton, TX 75006 RE: Coppell Heights AdditionfLots 9B and 9C Construction Plan Review Comments (5th Submittal) The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: I. Note 5 on the paving plan should read 3600 psi. Refer to standard detail 2290. 2. Remove the paving details sheet and just refer to the city standard construction details. The contractor should obtain a copy of the city standard construction details and have them at all times when on the job site. Once these changes have been made, please submit revised copies for the City Engineer's stamp. The City of Coppell requires three sets of final construction plans for its use; your office should submit as many additional sets for stamping as is necessary for construction operations. All contractors and subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by the City of Coppell. All fees must be paid prior to release of this proiect for construction. The City charges a 2% inspection fee for all private construction outside the building's footprint. This includes dirt work, paving, storm drains, water lines, sewer lines, drainage pipes, etc. that are private. For all installations in the public right-of-way or easement, the City charges a 4% fee. A check for inspection fees made to the City of Coppell should be submitted to this office along with the Construction Development Permit Application and a copy of the Construction Site Notice. For your convenience a spreadsheet is attached to the permit application for use in calculating the inspection fees. A copy of the contract(s) should be attached for verification purposes. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining As-Builts and should provide you with any changes that may occur.
