Monhly reimbursement request on Sandy Lake
You can request reimbursement up to 20% of all eligible costs( Need contractor pay estimate to clearly
indicate total amount paid contractor & then ask for 20% minus retainage of county's share ).
Example: If contractor poured concrete & other items for $300 k on pay estimate # 1,U need to follow the
following steps:
Step 1: take 5% retainage which is $ 15K. Therefore U pay $ 285K to the contractor
Step 2: Say $ 50k was to be paid 100 % by the City. Therefore County will participate on $ 250 K
Step 4: 20% of $ 250k is for County to pay= $ 50k
Step 4: 5% retainage of $ 50K = $ 2.5K
Step 5 : Send an invoice wI bid tab & cancel check paid to the contractor for $ 285K to the County
Step 6: Send invoice for $ 50k-$ 2.5K= $ 47.5k
Suggestion:
You may want to develop a bi~O show County's participation as schedule 1 (one) wltotal contract
amount & City's 100% share as schedule 2 ( two).
