I received information today from FEMA (dated October 24, 2007) that FEMA has again suspended
the review of the Alexander Tract flood study due to incomplete information and some incorrect
information concerning several cross sections.
It's unknown whether or not the needed information will not have a material impact on the basic results
of the study. I'm hopeful that the information will be submitted by Nathan Maier, Inc. in a timely
matter so we can put the flood study behind us on this project.
This is why I'm generally very cautious about letting work take place in the flood plain prior to a
conditional approval by FEMA.
