Construction Plan Review Comments
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
General -
1. Change the utility contact info for the City of Coppell to the public works dept. 972-462-5155
2. Submit a copy of the NOI before construction.
3. Coordinate with the fire marshal for the closure of existing fire lanes.
Plat -
4. This is a private storm drain system no drainage easements are required.
5. The original plat calls out a 24' fire lane not a 30' fire lane access and utility easement.
Gradine Plan-
6. Who is going to build and when is the retaining wall going to be built?
7. Provide a spot elevation for the grate inlets.
Drainaee Plan -
8. There is some concern with erosion of the loose rock riprap at the outfall structures, ensure
proper stabilization.
9. Instead ofa flume and loose rock riprap, did you consider an inlet tied into the proposed
storm drain?
Utility Plan -
10. Fire Hydrants must be within 3' -6' of the fire lane and the FDC must be within 50' of a fire
hydrant.
11. FDC line should enter directly into the fire room and not tie into fire line.
12. See details for the construction of the vault.
Erosion Control Plan -
13. Protect the grate inlets and the flume on the north side of the
