This letter is in response to your comments on November 13 2007. The following
items have been addressed as per the referenced review:
GENERAL
1. Change the utility contact info for the City of Coppell to the public works dept.
972-462-5155.
Response: Revised
2. Submit a copy of the NOI before construction.
Response: Will comply.
3. Coordinate with the fIre marshal for the closure of existing fIre lanes.
Response: Will comply.
PLAT
4. This is a private storm drain system no drainage easements are required.
Response: Easements have been removed.

5. The original plat calls out a 24' fIre lane not a 30' fIre lane access and utility
easement.
Response: We revisited this easement; the filed plat shows an actual 30'
easement that is mis-labeled as a 24' easement. The correct easement should
be a 30' fire lane.
GRADING PLAN
6. Who is going to build and when is the retaining wall going to be built?
Response: The retaining wall will be design-build; the Contractor will be
selected at a later date (when bids all come in).
7. Provide a spot elevation for the grate inlets.
Response: Added spot elevations.
DRAINAGE PLAN
8. There is some concern with erosion of the loose rock riprap at the outfall
structures, ensure proper stabilization.
Response: We have added additional rock rip-rap at the outfall structures to
help ensure that the flows are not erosive.
9. Instead of a flume and loose rock riprap, did you consider an inlet tied into the
proposed storm drain?
Response: We did consider this but decided to have aflume and rip-rap due to
the small quantity offlow.
UTILITY PLAN
10. Fire Hydrants must be within 3' -6' of the fIre lane and the FDC must be within
50' of a fIre hydrant.
Response: We have revised our water plan to reflect this comment.
11. FDC line should enter directly into the fIre room and not tie into fIre line.
Response: We have revised the layout of the FDC.
12. See details for the construction of the vault.
Response: We have reviewed the vault construction details and added
