Connell - Skaggs Drainage Improvement
Subjects Shady Dale Lane's Residents
As per your request, we visited with Ms. Pauline Jenkins at 132
Shady Dale on Thursday, April 19, 1990, and did a site
investigation of the above referenced drainage area. Ms. Jenkins
expressed lots of concerns with the existing drainage situation in
her back yard and indicated that she has never had such problem in
the 30 years she has lived in this house until the new shopping
center was put in place (refers to Connell - Skaggs Addition).
Please note that we have also contacted the residents of Shady
Dale, as shown on the attached list, and were able to talk to 6
residents informing them about the reference City Council item...
drainage improvement options.., etc. which will be discussed in the
up coming City Council meeting on April 24, 1990.
Generally the residents are looking for some type of interim
solution to the problem, such as cleaning up 'the existing ditch,
to avoid drain water from washing up their backyard, especially in
Ms. Jenkin's case.
Connell - Skaggs representative and engineer will be attending the
April 24, 1990, City Council meeting along with city staff to
answer any questions.
