If there is no impact on upstream or downstream property, then I let Building Inspections know that a wrought iron or similar type fence can be installed. The study is not sent to FEMA. I kept the study in our files so I can produce it when FEMA performs their Community Assistance Visit (CA V) for the city. Hope this helps. Ifhis fence causes an increased BFE that can't be reduced, I suppose it will have to be removed. Otherwise, what will you need to demonstrate that it causes no increase? Will a LOMR be needed? Thank you.
