Dear Mr. Balch:
We have received and reviewed your letter regarding the above
captioned item. Your understanding of our emergency instructions
regarding this item are correct. We have no objection to your
proposed pricing, but we will require the following:
1. Please submit your hourly labor and equipment rates and
material markup amounts for all proposed hourly or cost plus
work.
2. Please submit all time tickets and invoices related to
this work to our resident project representative at the end
of each work day for verification.
3. In accordance with your special note, we prefer that you
accomplish the pipe laying work at the existing Contract
Unit Prices with your normal subcontractor.
Please establish the proposed layout for this work on the ground
and allow our resident project representative the opportunity for
review prior to construction. Please proceed as soon as
practical.
