Oaktrail Drainage Project

Ms. Carolyn Knewitz was contacted by telephone on this date and she
returned her comments regarding the easement documents and proposed
construction plans.
We will send a copy of Mrs. Knewitz's marked-up document and'
comments to DeShazo, Starek & Tang for final revision. It is our
understanding that she and her partner are willing to dedicate the
necessary easement. Please note that Mrs. Knewitz expressed her
concern regarding her lot being lower than Summer Place Addition,
and that she wants the City to raise her back yard, etc. I
indicated to her that our project only deals with installation of
a proposed drainage system to minimize the flooding in her back
yard and that raising her back yard would be a private project, not
City's.
We will keep you posted of this matter, as we intend to get the
easement documents revised and hopefully place it on the December
11, 1990 City Council Agenda, if completed.
