Construction Plan Review Comments (3rd submittal)
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and these plans will be approved with the
following comments addressed:
Plat
I. Include Plat with drawing set.
Left Turn Lane
2. The proposed left turn lane should follow Standard detail 2025 which includes the 18" O.c. rebar
spacing. All the private paving can have 24" O.c. rebar spacing.
3. We would prefer the 6 pages of standard details at the end of the plans not to be included, if you would
like to include them, condense them to fit on one page. The contractor will need to purchase or download
from our website, a copy of the standard details and keep them with him at all times during construction.
The City of Coppell has reviewed the revised plans for the referenced addition and they have been
approved.
The City of Coppell requires three sets of final construction plans for its use; your office should submit as
many additional sets for stamping as is necessary for construction operations. All contractors and
subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by the City of Coppell along with a copy of
the City's standard construction details.
All fees must be paid prior to release of this project for construction. The City charges a 2% inspection
fee for all private construction outside the building's footprint. This includes dirt work, paving, storm
drains, water lines, sewer lines, drainage pipes, etc. that are private. For all installations in the public
right-of-way or easement, the City charges a 4% fee. A check for inspection fees made to the City of
Coppell should be submitted to this office along with the Construction Development Permit Application
and a copy of the Construction Site Notice. For your convenience a spreadsheet is attached to the permit
application for use in calculating the inspection fees. A copy of the contract(s) should be attached for
