RE: Vista Ridge Retail Center Traffic Signal
Construction Plan Review Comments
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced traffic signal plans and has the
following comments to offer:
1. Placement of the poles on the west side of Denton Tap should be reexamined for
future extension of Highland Drive to the west.
2. Pole T -1 ' s mast arm should be modified to have a length of 48' to accommodate
future left turns onto Denton Tap. The foundation should be modified to a 36-A.
3. Pole T-3 should be wired to ensure the future addition of the mast arm assembly
for eastbound traffic.
4. Pole T-2's mast arm should include the "left turn" signal head.
5. Traffic signal heads should be placed to service each specific lane of traffic.
6. An interlocal agreement between the City of Coppell and the City of Lewisville
will be needed prior to placing the traffic signal in service.
