Construction Plan Review Comments
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
Plat -
I. Include the plat with the plans to be submitted.
Site Plan -
2. Include the site plan with the plans to be submitted.
Pavine Plan -
3. Refer to the City of Coppell Standard Construction Details.
4. Verify whether the Landscape plan and Tree survey sheet L-I will also serve as the paving
plan. Sheet L-I is labeled Landscape and Paving Plan on the cover sheet. We will need
details on the Grass Crete paving along with the parking lot paving.
Water and Sanitarv Sewer Plan -
5. The Contractor will need to submit a traffic control plan 72 hours prior to working in Coppell
Rd. It may be necessary to coordinate the construction with the S. Coppell Rd. project.
6. Will you need an irrigation meter?
Gradine Plan-
7. When you came in to visit with us you mentioned that you would work on the grading plan
for an alternative to the storm drain. Were you able to revise? If so, please submit for review.
The City of Coppell has reviewed the revised plans for the referenced addition and they have
been approved with the comments above addressed to meet our requirements.
The City of Coppell requires three sets of final construction plans for its use; your office should
submit as many additional sets for stamping as is necessary for construction operations. All
contractors and subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by the City of
Coppell along with a copy of the City's standard construction details.

All fees must be paid prior to release of this project for construction. The City charges a 2%
inspection fee for all private construction outside the building's footprint. This includes dirt
work, paving, storm drains, water lines, sewer lines, drainage pipes, etc. that are private. For all
installations in the public right-of-way or easement, the City charges a 4% fee. A check for
inspection fees made to the City of Coppell should be submitted to this office along with the
Construction Development Permit Application and a copy of the Construction Site Notice. For
your convenience a spreadsheet is attached to the permit application for use in calculating the
inspection fees. A copy of the contract(s) should be attached for verification purposes. If you
