As we discussed, Oak Trail will be bid separate from the Hill Drive
project and this status memo now separates the two projects.
We have received the attached preliminary report and with your
approval, we will tell the Consultant to design and go to bid on
Option One only due to availability of funds (or lack of them).
The Consultant can get the contract documents ready with two weeks
of our approval and go ahead on with option (i.e. 1, 2 or 3) we
desire.
Then we could advertise starting on February 16, 1990 taking bids
at 10~00 a.m. on Monday, March~ 1990 and present to the City
Council for award on March 13, ~99~.
If we provide the go ahead on this project on or before Friday,
February 2, 1990, then we could still bid both projects in
combination asking for bids either separately or combined with a
discount and take the bids in both ways. Please advise.
