Dear Mr, Doyle:
Improvements
Enclosed are bid tabulations for the referenced project. We have
examined the bids and find no irregularities that would disqualify
the Iow bidder, SYB Construction, However, you may wish to
request financial information and references to further qualify the
contractor.
Since there appear to be only minor discounts for the award of
both projects to a single contractor, we recommend that the award
of the Oak 'frail project be delayed pending the resolution o'f the
utility conflicts. However, should you choose to proceed with the
project, we recommend that you choose Alternates 9A and 15A.
For a small increase in cost. the pipe capacity will be significantly
increased.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
