1. Background. Since 2005, Amcat leased the CISD property at 200 Southwestern
Blvd, Coppell TX. This lease was terminated in October 2008 to allow district to
build a parking lot on the property. While leasing the property Amcat built a 24' x
20" "student training lab"' on the property. The CISD has offered to assist moving
the lab off their property onto Amcat property. Last year the city approved a
proposal to move the training lab to 1230 Crestside in Coppel!. However, for
economic reasons this is not a feasible option at this time.
2. Proposal. Move the training facility to the easement on the north side of 196
Southwestern. This will allow Amcat students to access the lab and it will not
adversely influence the school or the neighborhood. Amcat is willing to pay a
reasonable monthly rent on the land being used. The training facility is not a
permanent structure and will be moved at the request of the city.
