Re: Alexander Court
Connecting Retaining Walls
Dear Sir,
I have enclosed copies of the perimeter wall "construction detail plan",
Rev. 7, dated 04/14/08 and revised copies of the lot grading plan, showing
"additional retaining wall grades" dated 04/19/08. David Weekley Homes
has chosen to connect the retaining walls between lots 5 & 8 and at the back
of lot 29. Tim Bennett's revised plan indicates the interim grades necessary
to facilitate this new construction. TRW believes it would be the most cost
efficient to build the new walls and the perimeter wall at the same time.
Survey alignment and grade staking is complete and TRW is ready to start.
The 4: 1 slopes must be removed and James Arnold Const. is available to do
that immediately. This work needs to be done before the franchise utilities
start their work. The construction permit for Atmos Energy has lapsed and
must be reissued. Circle "J" Boring has had to wait for some materials to be
delivered and their owner has been incapacitated for 3 months.
By virtue of this letter, please accept this as my urgent request for James
Arnold and TRW to be allowed to proceed immediately, with the necessary
additional dirt work and retaining wall construction. Under the present
conditions, your expeditious approval and permission to proceed, will be
a welcome accommodation and certainly will facilitate the most practical
means to satisfy David Weekley's request. If this is acceptable, please
advise, so Larry Davis and all interested parties will know that we are
allowed to proceed on this basis. Thank You. . .
