Dear Mr. Cobb:
This notice is to inform you of the completion of the drainage
study authorized by City Council concerning the flooding along
Hill Drive between Cherrybark Drive and Sandy Lake Road. The
study recommended the existing underground storm drain system
located in the alley between Hill Drive and Mockingbird be
extended and modified.
A construction contract has been awarded to SYB Construction
Company (office-Metro #817-261-0226, P.O. Box 13614, Arlington,
TX, 76094-0614) by City Council action to make the necessary
extension and modification. Construction activity is scheduled
to begin on Monday, June 18, 1990 with an expected completion
date of August 16, 1990.
Due to the location of the storm drain system, construction
activity will require the closure of the alley between Hill Drive
and Mockingbird (see attached) for the duration of the sixty (60)
day contract. Alley closure will necessitate alteration of
normal vehicle parking and sanitation collection.
We respectfully request all vehicle parking be at street curbside
adjacent to your property. Arrangements have been made with
Texas Waste Management (436-3512) to make sanitation collection
at the front curbside on your regular collection date until
construction is complete.
Your cooperation and understanding is respectfully requested in
order to complete the project. If I can be of further assis-
