ST9302-CS 950110 (3) L~ich & Associates January 10, 1995 Ken Griffin City of Coppell P.O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Dear Ken: The attached figures show the TranPlan munber generated under both scenarios. I apologize for not having the plots ready - TranPlan has not kept up with the new type of plotters. I will furnish you with plots and a swnmary. General observation shows that when Sandy Lake is a 6-lane divided throughout the dty traffic increases along Sandy Lake, decreases along all parallel fadlities. Denton Tap Road increased only between Sandy Lake and S.H. 121 and showed a decrease to the south of Sandy Lake. It is assumed that the more capadty provided along Sandy Lake attracts residential traffic accessing the freeways. You will note that freeways themselves decreased when Sandy Lake was only a 6 LD. Both runs have volumes that do not justify Sandy Lake as a 6-lane divided throughout the dty. Sincerely, ~~ Barbra L.
