ST0003-CS080415 9) How is Tiseo's track record for finishing projects? Good, for example they were given 30 days for the Bethel Rd/Freeport intersection reconstruction and only used 26 days. They also finished up the West Sandy Lake Rd project in an acceptable time frame. 10) Going back to the tree issue, will there be any trees left on the west side of the road for screening & noise reduction? Any trees that are in conflict with the paving will have to be removed with this project, many others will have to be removed for the Bethel Road II project later. 11) Will there be street lights on this section of Coppell Rd.? No street lights are being planned for this project; decorative lighting is included for the Old Town area in the Bethel Rd II project. 12) Will the speed limit stay the same as now after the project is over? There are no plans to change the speed limit when the road is finished. 13) Will the Bethel Rd. II project be going on at the same time as the Coppell Rd. project? We can hold off on beginning the next project if an existing project is tracking longer than planned. 14) Is there a suggested route to CMSW? Has the CISD Transportation Dept. been advised of the road closing to southbound traffic? We strongly suggest using Freeport Parkway as the major route to the south part of town for people that live in the affected areas. CISD has been notified, we have met with their representatives and it is up to them to plan their routes. 15) Touching on the landscape/trees issue again... will trees on west side south of Cooper be removed so there is no screening from Container Store? Jim Witt offered to the gathering that the city's Tree Mitigation Fund will be used to replenish trees that currently screen that area. Trees that are in conflict with paving will be removed, any landscape or sprinklers damaged on private property will be restored after the project is finished. 16) Do you know where crosswalks to the school will be located? Need for crosswalks will be evaluated once the project is finished; will be placed at the safest crossing area & city will work with CISD to determine where that is.
