Alen,
Just to let you know, I have talked to Mr. Witt about this issue. We are going to process two checks, one to the engineer and one to
the contractor.
As of this morning the sidewalk is still not acceptable to the city. I understand that Mike Garza and Albert have both advised the
contractor that he needs to remove and replace the portion at the north end where it ties into to the property to the north of your
development. I'm sure you understand that we can not have a sidewalk that stops 8" above the adjacent grade.
Once this issue is resolved we will process the checks to the engineer and to the contractor.

Keith,
Jim Witt had asked me to put this letter together and I wanted to send it to you with all
the invoices for the Sidewalk.
Let me know, should you need further information or have any questions.
My preference would be to have the City pay directly Dooley & Mack Contractors and
Winkelman and Associates for the work, just advise me of your preferred method to pay
the sub-contractors.
Thank you for your assistance.
