Construction Plan Review Comments
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
Plat-
1. Submit the correct plat for review.
General Notes-
2. Correct or remove incorrect notes. Refer to the City of Coppell Subdivision Ordinance and
Construction Details.
Pavine: Plan -
3. The paving notes show a T' fire lane and the legend shows a 6". If you are requesting a
variance on the sub-grade, you must submit a letter for approval accompanied by the
geotechnical report.
4. Refer to the City of Coppell Ordinance regarding signage for the fire lane.
Storm Drain Plan and Profile -
5. Show the water crossings at the junction box on the storm drain profile.
6. Show the hydraulic grade line and pipe capacity calculations; including the flow, slope,
velocity, etc. on the storm drain profile.
Utility Plan and Profile -
7. Show the water crossing on the profile.
There may be additional comments throughout the plans that need attention as well. Please make
the necessary changes and submit these marked-up plans and two sets of revised plans to the
City for review. If you have any questions, please contact this office at your convenience.
The City of Coppell requires three sets of final construction plans for its use; your office should
submit as many additional sets for stamping as is necessary for construction operations. All
contractors and subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by the City of
Coppell along with a copy of the City's standard construction details.

All fees must be paid prior to release of this project for construction. The City charges a 2%
inspection fee for all private construction outside the building's footprint. This includes dirt
work, paving, storm drains, water lines, sewer lines, drainage pipes, etc. that are private. For all
installations in the public right-of-way or easement, the City charges a 4% fee. A check for
inspection fees made to the City of Coppell should be submitted to this office along with the
Construction Development Permit Application and a copy of the Construction Site Notice. A
copy of the contract(s) should be attached for verification purposes. If you have any questions,
