Scope of Work
This work shall consist of the Construction of approximately 500 linear feet of 8"
DR-14 Class 200 PVC water line with connection to existing water lines on each end. All
ductile iron fittings necessary shall be included in the lump sum bid amount. This work
will include installation of 4 - 1" services by other than open cut. These services shall
include placement of a new meter setter and meter can provided by the contractor. The
contractor will also be expected to set a new meter, however the city will supply the meter.
The services will then be tied into the existing house service behind the meter. The existing
4" water line will be cut, plugged, and abandoned in place once the new services are
completed. A new 2" irrigation service will be installed in Hunterwood Park including the
meter setter, installation of the meter, the double check, meter cans, and all other items
depicted in standard detail 4155.
Street, sidewalk, and trail crossings depicted in the plans may be done by open cut, or other
than open cut. Pavement repair or bore shall be done in accordance with appropriate city
details.
Upon completion of the construction, the contractor shall be responsible for restoring
disturbed areas to the original condition. Where sod is disturbed adjacent to the homes in
the area it shall be replaced as block sod. Where native vegetation is disturbed in the park
area it shall be restored by placement of sod or by seeding at the contractors discretion.
Where seed is used, the project will not be closed out, and final payment will not be made
until vegetation is established.
See the attached plan sheets for additional information on the scope of work. Take notice
of the Depth of the crossing utilities, as the water line will need to go over the sanitary
sewer, then under the storm sewer.
The site can be accessed from CoppeD Road to Cooper Lane to Anderson Ave.
For this project, the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction - North
Central Texas Fourth Edition, as prepared by the North Central Texas Council of
Governments, the City of Coppell Standard Construction Details (Ord. #2006-112), and
Appendix 'c' Design Criteria and Standards in the City of Coppell Subdivision Ordinance
(Ord. #94-643) shall govern all work to be done, together with any additional
Supplementary Conditions, Specific Project Requirements and General Notes included
herein. This project requires a standard 5% bid bond. This project shall be bid as a lump
sum.

Scope of Work
This work shall consist of the Construction of approximately 500 linear feet of 8"
DR-14 Class 200 PVC water line with connection to existing water lines on each end. All
ductile iron fittings necessary shall be included in the lump sum bid amount. This work
wiII include installation of 4 - 1" services by other than open cut. These services shall
include placement of a new meter setter and meter can provided by the contractor. The
contractor wiII also be expected to set a new meter, however the city wiII supply the meter.
The services wiII then be tied into the existing house service behind the meter. The existing
4" water line wiII be cut, plugged, and abandoned in place once the new services are
completed. A new 2" irrigation service wiII be installed in Hunterwood Park including the
meter setter, installation of the meter, the double check, meter cans, and all other items
depicted in standard detail 4155.
Street, sidewalk, and trail crossings depicted in the plans may be done by open cut, or other
than open cut. Pavement repair or bore shall be done in accordance with appropriate city
details.
Upon completion of the construction, the contractor shall be responsible for restoring
disturbed areas to the original condition. Where sod is disturbed adjacent to the homes in
the area it shall be replaced as block sod. Where native vegetation is disturbed in the park
area it shall be restored by placement of sod or by seeding at the contractors discretion.
Where seed is used, the project will not be closed out, and final payment will not be made
until vegetation is established.
See the attached plan sheets for additional information on the scope of work. Take notice
of the Depth of the crossing utilities, as the water line will need to go over the sanitary
sewer. then under the storm sewer.
The site can be accessed from Coppell Road to Cooper Lane to Anderson Ave.
For this project, the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction - North
Central Texas Fourth Edition, as prepared by the North Central Texas Council of
Governments, the City of Coppell Standard Construction Details (Ord. #2006-112), and
Appendix 'C' Design Criteria and Standards in the City of Coppell Subdivision Ordinance
(Ord. #94-643) shall govern all work to be done, together with any additional
Supplementary Conditions, Specific Project Requirements and General Notes included
herein. This project requires a standard 5% bid bond. This project shall be bid as a lump
sum.

Scope of Work
This work shall consist of the Construction of approximately 500 linear feet of 8"
DR-14 Class 200 PVC water line with connection to existing water lines on each end. All
ductile iron fittings necessary shall be included in the lump sum bid amount. This work
will include installation of 4 - 1" services by other than open cut. These services shall
include placement of a new meter setter and meter can provided by the contractor. The
contractor will also be expected to set a new meter, however the city will supply the meter.
The services will then be tied into the existing house service behind the meter. The existing
4" water line will be cut, plugged, and abandoned in place once the new services are
completed. A new 2" irrigation service will be installed in Hunterwood Park including the
meter setter, installation of the meter, the double check, meter cans, and all other items
depicted in standard detail 4155.
Street, sidewalk, and trail crossings depicted in the plans may be done by open cut, or other
than open cut. Pavement repair or bore shall be done in accordance with appropriate city
details.
Upon completion of the construction, the contractor shall be responsible for restoring
disturbed areas to the original condition. Where sod is disturbed adjacent to the homes in
the area it shall be replaced as block sod. Where native vegetation is disturbed in the park
area it shall be restored by placement of sod or by seeding at the contractors discretion.
Where seed is used, the project will not be closed out, and final payment will not be made
until vegetation is established.
See the attached plan sheets for additional information on the scope of work. Take notice
of the Depth of the crossing utilities, as the water line will need to go over the sanitary
sewer, then under the storm sewer.
The site can be accessed from Coppell Road to Cooper Lane to Anderson Ave.
For this project, the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction - North
Central Texas Fourth Edition, as prepared by the North Central Texas Council of
Governments, the City of Coppell Standard Construction Details (Ord. #2006-112), and
Appendix 'C' Design Criteria and Standards in the City of Coppell Subdivision Ordinance
(Ord. #94-643) shall govern all work to be done, together with any additional
Supplementary Conditions, Specific Project Requirements and General Notes included
herein. This project requires a standard 5% bid bond. This project shall be bid as a lump
sum.
Number of Calendar Days to Complete the Work: 40
