I am in t~ce~pt of K~n Griffin's memo to you dated February 3, 1993
regarding the aforemenlioned drainag~ issues related to my propert3.
I am presently- hav{ng 8ilI Anderson of the civil eng{neering f{rm,
Dan Dowdey and Associates, ~%'iew Mr. Gri~fin's correspondence and
make klm recom~nendatio:)s and' or comments regaz-d~ng this matter.
As i am under contract for ~he possible purchase and development

Du.x of m3- land now {~ (:~rtalniy an appropr!ar.e tlmo to attempt
to resolve the drainage issues related to the property. As a
conditiom of my contract and as part of the development plan
submitted to thec:t3' ', 5;oore Road is to be widened and constructed to
match wSdthg of };core Road ~:okh 5outh and north o~ m3' property.

my pr:~pert}-, as wel' as benefit the clt3"s traff{c flow north on

3. Preparation o~ the bid package for solicitation of bids from
acceptable contractors for the construct',on of the {mprovements .
Coincidentally witk the preparation of the bid package I would
ask that the eng{neer provide both the c{ty and me a tentative

mos~t likely occur simultaneously' with the construction of the
drafnage ~mprox-ememts, there maF be economies o~ cost in .{nv{ting
bids from the contractors bidding portions of the development

necessary qualifications required by the city.
Please understand that it ~s m}- intent to de~ine the drainage
imprcvemenl costs in detail in order to {dentify my financial
ob].~satlons as well as zhe city's.
I believe that the proposed development of my property will be an
enhancement to ~he City of Ccppei' . Certa~niy, my ability to fund my
portion of the drainage improvements is predicated upon the purchaser
c!os{ng on :ny properly, and I feel conf{den~ that this will occur.
The purchaser's c]o~ns is also condit{oned upon tko receipt of
favorable zoning ar~:~ pre!i~:{r:ary plat approval.
request your assistance and .or direction as to how to proceed with
the details of this matter, in uhat we are progress~n~ with ~onlng of
both parcels (r~sidentlal and commercial) as well as preliminary
platt ~ng of t]~e res~den~a! parcel, your expeditious reply
appreciated.
