The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe:
1. The placement of 20 cubic yards of 3600 psi concrete for approach.
2.The placement of 8 cubic yards of 4500 psi concrete for inlet tops.
The required test limits were determined to be a slump of 2-5 inches, air content of 3-5 %, batch
to placement time of <90 minutes, and concrete temperature range of 50-90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Concrete observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications
with regard to temperature, slump, air content, and batch to placement time.
The following samples were obtained for compressive strength testing in our laboratory:
SetA:
1 set of 4 lab cylinders (3600 psi) for driveway
SetB:
1 set of 4 lab cylinders (4500 psi) for inlet tops

to placement time of <90 minutes, and concrete temperature range of 50-90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Concrete observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications
with regard to temperature, slump, and batch to placement time. the contractor was informed of
the percent air content being out of project specifications.
The following samples were obtained for compressive strength testing in our laboratory:
