Dear Ms. Kasten,
This office understands that the Secure Lock Self Storage facility located at 320 State Highway
121 has been approached by a pipeline company who would like to install an underground
pipeline across the property. This property was granted a Specific Use Permit (S-1204) on May
13, 2003 to allow the operation of a self-storage facility. The approval of the SUP was granted
based on a site plan showing the location and configuration of all buildings on the site. The site
plan did not show underground facilities and therefore, the installation of an underground
pipeline across this property will not violate the terms and conditions of the approved SUP for
this property.
However, appropriate permits will be required from the Engineering Department prior to
installation of any underground facilities within this easement to assure that there are no conflicts
with existing utilities.
