Letter of Permission
Dear Mr. Foster:
This letter is written as a follow up to a letter you should have received in July 2007 expressing
the city's need for dedication ofright of way or easement on your property. This earlier letter is
attached herewith for reference.
As of the writing of this letter the city has not yet acquired the necessary land to move forward
with this project. In the referenced letter we indicate that the plan is to begin construction in the
third Quarter of 2008. That is still the plan, however we must first acquire the land, and then
have the various franchise utilities (phone, gas, electricity, and cable) relocate their infrastructure
prior to beginning construction.
As a reminder, we are offering to compensate you for acquisition of this land based on values
determined by the Dallas Central Appraisal District. The attached letter from July details the
offer for acquisition of this parcel of land.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally make myself available to you for any questions,
comments, discussion, or counter offers you may wish to make concerning acquisition of this
land. Please call me at your convenience to discuss this issue, or to set up a time for me to meet
you at this location to layout what we will be doing during this project.
I am in the office from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and can be reached directly at
972-304-3681. I am also willing to meet outside those hours if it is easier for you. Please call me
in the office to make those arrangements as well.
We feel this project will be of great benefit to the City of Coppell as a whole, and that it will be
particularly beneficial to the Old Coppell Area.
