We have addressed ali city commenls except the inclusion of paving proffies and the re-evaluation of pavement ~'ades on Woodhtlrsl Drive. Th~ paving sheet (PAY-I) shows all existing and proposc~l 8Tades for the street sections b6ing l~plac~l, Wc do not feel that a paving profile is useful for this tyl~ of rcunedlafion work, Howevex, we have re-evaluated tho ~rados on Woodhurst Drive. In ~,=noral, die Storm Water Mann.meat Plan shows replacing approximately 150 line~tr £~et of pavement (50 feet on Shadowcrest and 100 f~et on W~xxlhurst). This would relieve thc street flooding only in thc areas whom six~il'ic complaints had been fried. C-rades surveyed during the actual design of these improvements show=d sisnlficanfly more problem areas. The cunent plan includes pavemcut t~plac~mont of 100 linear feet on Shadowcrest Lane and 1150 linear feet on Wondhurst Drive for an estimated total consizuctlon cost of $64,000 (approximately $20,000 over the originally bndgeMd estimate). Woodhurst Drive drains to the east to a curb eul approximately 600 feet east of the interf¢ctlon of Sat]dy Knoll and Woodhurst. The original design pavement slop~ was 0.50%. Subsequent subgrade movements have flattened these ~lol~s in some places to 0,10%. Option 1 - Extend the pay©mcat 25 linear feet on the east and west (total 200 ]inc~ fee0. Tiffs option increases pavement slopes in the replaced area and the overall slope east of thc new pavement is 0.50% or greamr, however there is still a large (.~.2.5' deep) ponded ama immediately east of the end of the new pavement.
