PROJECT: Southwest Coppel!
Drainage Study
I sent a memorandum on May 11, 1999 outlining discussions with D/FW Airport regarding the drainage issues in
Southwest Cappel!. We have completed the drainage and alternative analysis for Southwest Cappel! and wish to
formulate our final report. The general thought is that some means of storm water detention is required to help
control runoff increases in the area due to future development. We propose to finalize the report by
recommending the detention alternatives throughout the basin, outlining the stance of D/FW Airport, and generally
establishing the runoff criteria for the basin. Please let me know your thoughts on this approach.
