Dear Mr. Roberts:
Enclosed with this letter is a copy of our standard consulting engineers contract along with plans
that we have for the original construction of the DeForest Road Lift Station and the force main
that services the lift station. The plans are quite old making it difficult to read all the information
contained on the plans. However, this is the best information that we have.
On the consulting engineers contract, the first part, pages 1 through 9, is the general boiler plate
information. Attachment A is the specifics of the project and should detail the basic lump sum
services to be provided by your firm for this project. Attachment B is costing for any special
services that might be needed, during the design of this project. Once you have had the
opportunity to review this information you may wish to visit the lift station prior to submitting
your proposal for design services associated with upgrading the Deforest Road Lift Station and
