Re: DeForest Road Lift Station Improvements # SS 99-01
Dear Mr. Roberts:
This letter is written as a follow-up to our meeting of January 18, 2000 and my letter of February
10, 2000 concerning your fu'm providing engineering services to the City of Coppell for
modifications to the existing DeForest Road Lift Station. As I tried to convey during our
meeting and in my letter we do have a need to move forward with this project design and
construction. To date there has been no response from your firm in reference to a request for
proposal for design services. More than ten weeks have past since a copy of our standard
contract was provided to you along with plans of the original construction. Your lack of
response indicates that your firm does not have an interest in pursuing this project with the City
of Coppell. Therefore, the City of Coppell is currently meeting with other firms in an attempt to
obtain a request for proposal for design services associated with the DeForest Road Lift Station
upgrade.
Thank you for talcing the time to meet with me, however, because of a lack of response your firm
is no longer being considered for this project. If you have any questions please feel free to
contact me.
